A Better Trash Bag Holder

Why is BagJaw better than other types of trash bag holders?

Quick sweep up before your outdoor guests arrive.

From the beginning, we wanted to create a lightweight and easy to attach/ remove trash bag holder. People do not always have a lot of leaves, clipping or debris to pick up. Sometimes you just need a quick sweep up before your outdoor guests arrive. Pulling out a big contraption to do a small job just makes it bigger. In fact, sometimes the most tedious part of the job is picking up the last portion of a pile where all the small stuff remains. BagJaw and Rake “n” Sweep have a dustpan that others just don’t have. Many have a flat side, but they don’t have a dustpan that ramps the debris into the bag. Others have dustpans, but they are cumbersome to attach leaf bags or trash bags.

BagJaw weighs less than 12 ounces and can be conveniently stored away with a leaf or trash bag attached and ready to use at a moments notice. If you need to place a new bag on, you can attach a new bag in 5 seconds with our trash bag holder. No other comes close to that and you can reuse your bags.

Happy Leaf Bag Holding!

Raking Up Clippings and Leaves

Lay Rake n Sweep opening under your plant

I spent a few hours pruning some Photinia Plants this weekend along our fence. It’s crucial to the health of the plant. I used my Rake “n” Sweep to pick up the leaves and clippings. It was a real time saver and I was glad that I had it.

There were a couple of things that I wanted to share with you that I thought would be helpful.

The first thing is that when you are raking up clippings, they tend to resist enter the bag opening more than leaves. I use what I call the foot wedge technique. While hold the dustpan down with one foot push the pile of clippings in with the side of your other foot.

The second thing I learned from my wife. I had a Heavenly Bamboo plant that was blocking the faucet. The yard was all raked up and she didn’t want me to drop “crumbs” on her yard bark. She had me lay the opening of the BagJaw frame under the branch that I was going to cut. Everything dropped into the bag and there was no need to clean anything up.

Happy Rake n Sweeping!

The Best Yard Waste Disposal Method

We hope that every city will adopt this type of yard waste removal service for their citizens, and we congratulate the City of Richland for implementing it this past May. It’s a wonderful service and it’s really what inspired the creation of Rake “n” Sweep. Getting yard debris from the ground and into a cart is the problem. Rake “n” Sweep is the solution!
